As the football season came to an end about a week ago, football fans are more excited than ever.

Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala were rested in their last match of the season.
Lyon on the other hand finished 13th in Ligue 1, as the competition took a drastic decision to end the competition back in March. Theteam has been on a good form in club friendlies with four wins and two losses including a loss to Paris Saint German in the last edition of Coupe de la Ligue.
Man City vs Real Madrid
Pep Guadriola’s team look to keep their momentum in the UCL as they defeat Real in a 2-1 win at the Santiago Bernabue. Real Madrid on the other hand has not lost a single match since the return of La Liga, this form earned them the La Liga title.

Barcelona vs Napoli
As Barcelona is in crisis with the board, injuries and reports claim that Quique Setien lost the dressing room. The Catalans seek to turn their season around by focusing on the competition as it could be the only silverware they win. Napoli finished 7th in Serie A but are a tough opponent to play against. The game took a 1-1 draw back in Italy but Barcelona could be favourites since they have an away goal.
Bayern Munchen vs Chelsea
The Bundesliga champions are at their best form and are set to welcome Chelsea at the Allianz Arena. Chelsea who finished fouth in the English league and recently lost the FA final to Arsenal are in turmoil as the club is surrounded by injuries and to add salt to the injury they have to overturn a 3-0 defeat in the first leg.
